About The Roezan Chrome Extension
The Roezan Chrome Extension scans any webpage you visit for phone numbers.
It then lets you send SMS messages to those numbers through your Roezan account without ever leaving the page, creating new contacts in Roezan automatically.
Installation & Setup
1. Install the Extension
You can install the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Connect Your Roezan Account
To send messages, you need to connect the extension to your Roezan account with an API key.
• Get Your API Key from your profile here or go to Settings > Integrations > API, and copy your API Key.
• Add Key to Extension: Open the Roezan extension sidebar, click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right, and paste your API key into the "API Key" field. Click Save.
Once saved, the status badge at the top of the extension should change to ● Connected.
How to Use
1. Scan for Phone Numbers
Navigate to any webpage that contains phone numbers and hit "Re-Scan Page"
The extension will automatically try to detect them. If it doesn't find them right away, or if the page content changes, click the "Re-scan Page" button at the top of the sidebar.
2. Send an SMS
Detected phone numbers will appear in a list.
The extension will also try to find any associated names and email addresses for each number.
• Click the "Send SMS" button next to the number you want to message.
• A compose window will appear, pre-filled with the contact's information. If the contact information is incorrect, feel free to change it.
• Type your message and click "Send Message".
If a contact for that phone number doesn't already exist in Roezan, one will be created automatically with the name and email scraped from the page.
Troubleshooting
No numbers found?
Click the "Re-scan Page" button to force a new scan.
Not connected?
Double-check that your API key is correctly pasted into the settings page and saved.
